Before we begin, let's plot the triangles with the given vertices.

The two triangles have different orientations and locations. In â–ł JKL, the vertex L is to the right of K and J and in â–ł DEF the vertex F is to the left of D and E. Therefore, if we reflect â–ł DEF in the y-axis, figures will have the same orientation.

We can see that all corresponding vertices of the image â–ł E'F'D' are shifted 3 units up from â–ł JKL. Therefore, â–ł JKL is a translation 3 units down of â–ł E'F'D'.

We can see that the figures mapped onto each other. Therefore, the congruence transformation that maps â–ł DEF to â–ł JKL is a reflection in the y-axis followed by a translation 3 units down.
