Consider the given relation. { (4,2), (1,1), (0,0), (1,-1), (4,-2)}The domain of this relation is the set of unique x-values of the coordinates and the range is the set of unique y-values. Domain:& { 0, 1, 4} Range:& {-2, -1, 0, 1, 2 } To show a relation of (x,y) ordered pairs as a mapping, list all of the unique x-values in one vertical list and all unique y-values in another vertical list. Then, use arrows to connect corresponding x- and y-values.

Since the domain values 4 and 1 are mapped to two range values, this relation is not a function.
