We will graph each inequality separately and then combine the graphs. Let's think about the first inequality.
m≤ 7
This inequality describes all the numbers to the left of 7, including 7. We mark this on the number line with a closed circle and then shade everything to the left of that point.
Now let's take a look at the second inequality. m>12 It describes all the numbers to the right of, but not including, 12. We mark this on the number line with an open circle and then shade everything to the right of that point.
Finally, we can combine both graphs into one to describe both m≤ 7 and m>12.
