When calculating probability, you are comparing the number of favorable outcomes to the number of possible outcomes. To calculate the probability that a spinner would land on a part with an odd number we should use the Probability Formula.

Now, we can look at the spinner and find the number of possible outcomes.
There are 6 numbers on the spinner which is also the number of possible outcomes. To find favorable outcomes, we should calculate how many outcomes result in a spinner landing on an odd numbered part. An odd number is any integer that is not divisible by 2, so we have to choose any parts with such numbers.
Out of these, there are 3 such outcomes, which is also the number of favorable outcomes. Now we have enough information to calculate P(Odd).

The probability of a spinner landing on a part with an odd number is 12, which can also be written as 1:2.
