Let's mark the segments with known length on the figure. Since P is the center of the circle and both A and B are on the circle, PA and PB are both equal to the given radius of the circle.

To find the area of â–³ APB, we also use that this is a right triangle, which is given on the figure. The area of a right triangle is half the product of the measure of its legs.
