The rule regarding multiplying radical expressions states: "If sqrt(a) and sqrt(b) are real numbers, then sqrt(a)*sqrt(b)=sqrt(a b)."
sqrt(8)* sqrt(32)=sqrt(8* 32) = sqrt(256)
Notice that 256 is a perfect square, so we can easily calculate the root.
