The volume of a pyramid can also be calculated using a known formula. In this formula B is the area of the base, and h is the height of a pyramid. V=1/3BhIn our exercise, the base is a rectangle with the length of 13.1 m and the width of 9.2 m. Therefore, the area of the base of our pyramid will be the area of a rectangle. B= 13.1( 9.2)=120.52 The base of the pyramid is 120.52 square meters. We are also given that the height is 12m. Let's substitute these values into the formula and calculate V.

V=1/3Bh
V=1/3( 120.52)( 12)
V=1/3(1446.24)
V=1446.24/3
V=482.08
V≈ 482.1

The volume of the pyramid is approximately 482.1 m^3.
