The volume of a pyramid can be calculated using a known formula. V=1/3BhIn this formula, B is the area of the base, and h is the height. The base of the pyramid is a triangle with the base of length 9mm and height of length 8.2mm Therefore, the area of the base will be the area of a triangle. B=1/2( 9)( 8.2)=36.9 The area of the base is 36.9 square millimeters. We are also given that the height is 8.6mm. Let's substitute these values into the formula and calculate V.

V=1/3Bh
V=1/3( 36.9)( 8.6)
V=1/3(317.34)
V=317.34/3
V=105.78
V≈ 105.8

The volume of the pyramid is approximately 105.8 mm^3.
