# Angle Addition Postulate

If two angles have the same vertex and are side by side, the new angle formed measures the sum of the two side by side angles.

In the above case, the measure of $\omega$ can be found by adding the measures of $\alpha$ and $\theta.$ $m\angle \omega = m\angle \alpha + m\angle \theta$
