A factor pair of a number is a pair of two integers that result in the given number when multiplied together. The factor pairs of 30 are examined below as an example.
The factor pairs of 30 are (1,30), (2,15), (3,10), (5,6), (-1,-30), (-2,-15), (-3,-10), and (-5,-6). The following table shows some examples of numbers and their factor pairs.
