Practice makes perfect
When calculating probability, we are comparing the number of favorable outcomes to the number of possible outcomes. To calculate the probability of the spinner landing on A, C, or D we will use the Probability Formula. P=Favorable Outcomes/Possible Outcomes

Let's take a look at the spinner.

spinner
The spinner has 8 sections, so the number of possible outcomes is 8. Out of these, one section is labeled A, one section is labeled C, and one section is labeled D. The number of favorable outcomes is 3. Now we have enough information to calculate P(red or yellow).
P=Favorable Outcomes/Possible Outcomes
P(red or yellow)=3/8
The probability of spinning red or yellow is 38. This corresponds to option G.
