We want to find the volume of the following pyramid.

We can calculate the volume of a pyramid using the following formula. V=1/3Bh Here, B is the area of the base, and h is the height. The base of our pyramid is a right triangle with legs measuring 13 yards and 6 yards. Since the legs are perpendicular to each other, every leg is also the height falling onto the other leg. Therefore, the area B of a right triangle is half the product of the legs. Let's find this area!
B = 1/2( 13)( 6)
B = 1/2(78)
B = 78/2
B = 39
The base's area B is 39 square yards. The height h is 15 yards. Let's substitute these values into the formula and calculate V.
V=1/3Bh
V=1/3( 39)( 15)
