We can find the area of a triangle. We will use the following formula to do it. A=1/2bh In this formula, b is the length of the base and h is the height. For our triangle, we will substitute b= 5 for the base and h= 4 for the height into the formula to calculate A.
A=1/2bh
A=1/2( 5)( 4)
A = 1/2(20)
A = 20/2
A = 10
The area of the triangle is 10cm^2.
