0.5x(y-z)

a-b = a+(- b)

0.5x[y+(- z)]

Distribute 0.5x

0.5x(y) + 0.5x(- z)

a(- b)=- a * b

0.5x(y) + [- 0.5x(z)]

Multiply

0.5xy + [- 0.5xz]

a+(- b)=a-b

0.5xy - 0.5xz
