An integer tells us exactly how many whole units we will move away from 0 along the number line. For example, let's consider - 4. Since it is a negative number, we should move to the left 4 whole units.

Let's repeat this process for the other three numbers. The next number is - 6. Since it is also a negative number, we will move 6 whole units to the left.

We have two numbers left, 0, and 3. For 0, we do not need to move at all. We already are at the given number.

The other number, 3, is positive. It tells us that we should move 3 units to the right.
