12 laps in 8 minutes or 16 laps in 10 minutes

We will find both unit rates so that we can compare them. In this case, we are looking for the number of laps in one minute.

We need to find equivalent rates with denominators of 1 to find each of the unit rates. Let's start with the first rate!
