Describing Rotations

Let's on a coordinate plane draw a circle showing the outline of Spin Your Head. At $(25,0)$ we mark the position of the pod at the beginning of the ride.

To show the effect of Spin Your Head rotating $270^{\circ }$ counterclockwise about the origin, we will first draw a segment from the pod to the origin. Then, we will draw another segment from the origin to the image of the pod such that they are congruent and form a $270^{\circ }$ angle.

Looking at the figure, we can conclude that the image of the pod is located at $(0,\text{-}25).$
