Describing Reflections

Describing Reflections 1.7 - Solution

arrow_back Return to Describing Reflections

Let's start by identifying the corresponding vertices of the preimage and its reflected image. Then, we can connect them with dashed segments.

We will now draw the line of reflection. To do so, we draw a line that is perpendicular to the above segments that passes through their midpoints.

Finally, we can remove the dashed segments and only include the image, preimage, and line of reflection.
