Before we subtract terms, we should calculate the power and multiply due to order of operations.
Squaring a negative number is like multiplying it by itself. Therefore, multiplying two negative number always gives you a positive product. Any negative number raised to a power of 2 will have a positive value .
Raise to the power of 2. Do not forget about the minus sign!
Operations in parentheses should be done first.
First multiply, then calculate the quotient. Remember that dividing a positive value by a negative one gives you negative result. Also, notice that multiplying by a fraction means dividing by its denominator.
