We are asked what are the differences and similarities of the AAS Congruence Theorem and the ASA Congruence Theorem. Let's write the acronyms AAS and ASA to make it easier to spot the similarities and differences. & A A S → Angle - Angle - Side & A S A → Angle - Side - Angle Both theorems are similar because they involve two angles and one side. The difference is that AAS requires two pairs of congruent angles and one pair of congruent nonincluded sides. Conversely, ASA requires two pairs of congruent angles and one pair of congruent included sides.
